Hello, Friends!

Wowwww... spring break is gone, midterms are over, and there are only FIVE full weeks of classes left. Where has the time gone? At the beginning of the semester, it always seems like it's going to last f.o.r.e.v.e.r. I haven't posted a *real* post in the same ammount of f.o.r.e.v.e.r., either!! haha! Well... just to keep y'all occupied...
.
This is my personal blog after all, so I thought it was high time some of my fabulous friends got a chance to see the world. =) It's been such a blessing getting to know these girls. They've been a real encouragement in my life, and I certainly don't know what I would do without them!!
.
A few weeks ago, my college had Bible Conference. It's kinda like our Spring Break... we take most of the week off school and we get to hear some amazing preaching from our faculty as well as visiting pastors. In addition to getting some phenomenal messages, we have boatloads of guests on campus... annnnndd the Bible Conference picnic. One of the major events of the semester. They seriously serve us lunch outside on the grass. Live music, games, and funnel cakes... what could be better?
.
We had plenty of free time to do other fun stuff, too. Like run to Little Caeser's and eat a whole pepperoni pizza with two of my girlfriends (gulp. I just admitted that.). Or watch the collegian basketball championships and go bowling with my suitemate. Or sit out on the empty soccer field and talk to God about all the changes He's been working in my life over the semester. He's been so good and so faithful. It's been hard and wonderful - and you all know that it's been stressful. But seeing His hand in everything has been just amazing. =)
.
Anyway... I could go on and on about that, but I'll let you get to a few more pictures before I run off and finish my history homework for Monday! =)
.
Now for introductions... these are just a few of the lovelies who have made my life brighter!! (from left to right...) Sarah, Tyler, Carrie, Anna Grace, and Abigail. Some of the sweetest people you will e.v.e.r. meet! And simply gorgeous, every one of them.
.
Sorry, gents... I don't give out phone numbers.
 .
So that's what Anna Grace and Carrie think of the lemonade. Really?
.
I love these girls.
.
And they're pretty goofy. Crazy. Funnnnnn. =)
.
Hope y'all have a f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s evening!!
.
Much love!
Hannah
.
ps - are you glad to see the good ol' blog up and running again? Phew. Me too. That was quite the hassle adventure. =)

New Address

Sooooooo I can't figure out the problem I told you about yesterday. I think that farmgirlinflipflops.com is going to disappear!! =( Sad, sad, sad, sad day... BUT! I have it all figured out... but y'all have to work with me here.

Starting TODAY, or tomorrow, or whatever... my blog address will be http://farmgirlinflipflopsphotography.blogspot.com. Got that? There's an extra "photography" and "blogspot" in there. Until I can get this mess ironed out, that's where you'll find your "most favoritest" blog on the internet... haha!! =) Just kidddding. I really hope that all my faithful readers can find me after all this trouble... you know, if all else fails, just google "farmgirl in flipflops." There aren't too many of us out there. =)

For now... keep http://farmgirlinflipflopsphotography.blogspot.com handy and visit me often!
Much love!

VERY Important!!

Hey, chicas!! Just a quick and super important note... I'm in the process of TRYING to renew my domain, and I might loose y'all somewhere. It's scheduled to expire on March 20 (tomorrow!) but I can't get on the site to renew it - the server is down. So I might disappear... I HOPE I can get my farmgirlinflipflops.com back up and running!

In the meantime, I've bought http://farmgirlinflipflops.net. So IF farmgirlinflipflops.com is gone tomorrow. try looking up farmgirlinflipflops.net... it just might work. =)

I hope that I don't loose y'all for good! eeeeek!! =)

Much love!

Relax

Sometimes it's just SUPER nice to be able to relax for a bit. (a teeeny, tiiiiny bit...) This past week, my school had a Bible Conference... so no classes, yayyyy!! On Saturday, my friends and I closed our books and forgot about the research paper due Monday... and we headed to the beach. Yeaaaah.

It was an incredibly beautiful day... sunny, hot, and Florida-humid. Strangely, when we got to the beach, a weird fog/mist blew up and stayed the whole time... but!! We were at the beach, so who cared? Not me!! (though I didn't get to work on my tan, haha!!)

Laying out on the white sand, I contemplated life. It's been a crazy/stressful semester so far. But midterms are over and there's only... ummm... like seven weeks left!! It's going to fly... and then it'll be SUMMER. the very word is exciting!

So I hope that whatever craziness is going on in your life, you can have the chance to relax a little bit. Remind yourself that God's in control... hang out with friends... feel the tangy ocean air on your face. It'll give you a fresh perspective!

Much love!!

Nineteen

My family ordered me a deeeeeelicious cake, which, strangely, matches my iPhone *perfectly.* (and is enough to feed my entire hall!!)

I went to church to worship my Savior this morning. Sang "Mercy Came Down" for special music with my girlfriends. He is SO GOOD to me!

I hung out with two of the most fabulous, goofiest girls on campus.

The sun came out for the first time this weekend. The sky is blue and it's just GORGEOUS outside!

I opened a birthday box from my bestest friend. :)

After visiting a friend's senior graphic design show, I sat outside on the soccer field. (in my Sunday dress and heels!) And I read a book... for an hour... with the sun in my eyes and the breeze making a tangled mess of my perfect Sunday hair.

And...

I was reminded of how blessed I am. Nineteen wonderful years on this planet Earth. Sunshine on my skin. A family who cares. Friends to love. Silver toenail polish. A suitemate who brings you a HUGE slice of rich chocolate cake.

Today - the wonderful birthday that I've been blessed with - is only to remind me that the past nineteen years have been phenomenal. I don't want to celebrate ME today. I want to celebrate the life HE gave me.

And THAT'S a celebration for e.v.e.r.y day.
:)
