Doing "College Things"

I'm posting this in the middle of midterms to remind myself: I DO do fun things at college. Just because this week has been hectic and stressful doesn't mean that college isn't great. =) I'm kidding, mostly. Midterms aren't all THAT bad. Just a few early mornings, a few papers with holes erased clear through, a few projects to turn in, and a few cups of coffee.
.
At any rate, this was just one of the many fantastic things that this year has been full of. The evening started with me and my friends watching the Vice President debate and enjoying a warm mocha (aka getting worked up over politics... AGAIN... and having a pinch of caffine to prepare me for what was coming). Then it was a late night in the sports center celebrating our sports teams and cheering ourselves hoarse. From the guy's ahhhhhmazing a capella version of the Star-Spangled Banner to the very last cheer, it was a fabulous night. Morning. Somehow the four hours of sleep didn't really... cut it.
.
But I only get to do this every so often... I'm in college. It's a good excuse.
.

Okay, so. It might not LOOK like much, but, hey!! It's one of my first attempts... EVER... freelensing. Let me tell you... volleyball is a HARD sport to freelense.
.

Crowds are slightly easier to freelense, haha! =)
.

And THAT, ladies and gentlemen... is all. Happy midterms to all, and to all a goodnight.

When I was in college, I use to take my 35mm SLR camera, similiar to you. Keep at it. 16 years later, I love looking at my photos from college.

Great pictures! I'm totally confused about one of the basketball pictures. It appears like both teams were warming up on the same side? What was going on there?

  9. Awww thanks!! I thought that would be confusing, haha!! They're actually both our teams. They were playing each other, half of them wearing the home jerseys and the other half wearing away jerseys. It was like a "celebrate PCC night" ya know. They had a hoop-shooting competition, introduced the new teams, and stuff. So it wasn't a legit game. =)
