First Day

"It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life."
P.D. James

Well, everyone. It's autumn. It's time for the leaves to turn red, turn brown, turn fragile, and finally fall. Time for pumpkin spice lattes (which I'm actually drinking RIGHT at this moment). Leather boots, plaid shirts, and mustard stripes. Hot coffee, big scarves, and violas. A high, chilly blue sky. Messy buns and windblown curls.

Up north, anyway. Here... I only dream about it.

But I took pictures at home before I left of the most fallishly-autumn things I could find, even though it was still summer. =)

  5. I can't believe that I totally forgot to comment on this, but luckily I remembered this morning to come back. These photos are just perfectly fall-ish. And I feel sad that you don't see Fall down there in Florida, but I also feel a twinge of jealousy that you don't feel Winter either. :-)
