My Girls // Portraits

You've got troubles, well I've got 'em too
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you
We stick together and we see it through
You've got a friend in me...
You've got a friend in me.
Randy Newman // You've Got a Friend in Me

So maybe that's the most cliche friendship song e.v.e.r. But it reeeeeeeeally applies in this case!! These girls are so precious. And I definitely have "friends in them." =)

On one of our last (last!) Saturdays at school, we went out after dinner to take pictures of our beautiful selves. Orrrrr... of THEIR beautiful selves, haha! =)

I'd better give you some quick introductions so you can keep them all straight. Left to right, in the extremely traditional way....
.
Tyler, my roommate and definitely one of my BESTEST friends!!
Sarah, Abigail, and Anna Grace... all roommates, and my "suitemates." In other words, these are some of the girls I saw the most often, since we all shared a bathroom. haha... =)

I love them... =)

Okay, so Tyler. I wish she would let me take more pictures (AHEM!!), but she hates having her picture taken. Don't ask me *why*... because she's just drop-dead gorgeous!! =)

Not only gorgeous outside, but inside. She has such a beautiful smile and a heart for the Lord. She is constantly thinking of others. I love her laugh and her insights into God. And she can play piano like nobody's business. I can't WAIT to be roommates next year!!

Oh, and she puts up with me... a definite plus for anyone.
.
hmmm... don't look to closely at me, okay? I had been to the beach all day... looking a leeetle lobster-faced, there. =)

Precious!

And this is Anna Grace.

She's a speech major from Cali - a fellow military brat, too!! With those gorgeous brown eyes and her sweet spirit, she's going to make one fantabulous actress, don't you think? =)

I love to make her laugh. And we did plenty of that to each other this year! We also did a lot of heart-sharing and learning about God, and I'm excited to see where He's going to take her - her beautiful laugh and optimistic outlook and servant's heart are definitely gifts from Him!

The room next door (minus one)... I'm definitely gonna miss these girls!

Ahhh, Miss Sarah. =) She's so sweet! And I'm kinda partial to her name, myself... since, as y'all know, I have a little sis named that.
 .
Named Sarah, I mean. Not That.

She's a partial tomboy mixed with the artsy girl - an art major who works wonders with chalk and pencil and ink and all that stuff they use... =)

She comes from a big Mississippi family and so she knows how to make people laugh and how to be a good "big sister" to everybody. She is always real and sweet even a little goofy. A little.

And Abigail, of course.

I don't know how we all got put into our suite... every girl so talented! Abigail is a broadcasting/speech major - yes, another actress/artsy girl. So we had three piano majors, an English major, two speech/acting majors, an art major... and a math major. Go figure. =)

She's actually been on Broadway, but don't tell her I told you so.

I think I'm hiring myself to shoot her professional acting portraits one day...

Because that would be awwwwwwwwwesome.

She's got an infectious laugh and a genuine heart. Super sweet and easygoing, she puts everyone at ease and shares her heart for the Lord in everything she does.

Enter Lee Ann.

She's my Tennessean. We've been through a lot together this year, and I'm always impressed with her ability to smile. She's such a strong woman with a soul that is completely the Lord's. And I love her to death.

And shooting pictures with all of them was a blast.

Especially because of the natural modeling skills coming out there!

Mmmm... the location and light were SUPER pretty!!

I can't exactly recall meeting Lee Ann... something about Tyler and elevators. I do know that I'm SO glad I did!! =)

//
Girls, I hope you all have FABULOUS summers!! I'm going to miss you muuuuchly, and I'm looking forward to seeing y'all in the fall. You've all been such blessings to me, and even if you don't read this (even though I gave you my blog address, *sniff!!*), just know that I'm incredibly thankful that God placed you in my life. You'll never leave that special spot in my heart. =)

Much love!
Hannah

  8. Well we're only 2 hours from P'cola and we love that place to pieces...the Mississippi coast isn't as pretty but it's home, ya know? So when you're back at school and want to get away for the day or somethin', just holler! Or we can come over there! :)
